The main goal for this project was to recreate a live event experience with an immersive digital 3D virtual platform experience that could be used repeatedly for different sales and marketing events and client meetings. In this way, their team could choose to run an in-person event or an all digital event. Hybrid events don’t have to happen simultaneously. It was important for the company to have a versatile platform experience that could be used at tradeshows, distributor educations, training meetings, and customer events. With the help of the experienced and creative ProGlobalEvents team, this project first launched at the CES tradeshow.
Powerful demo stations
The experience featured six individual demo stations with different product offerings. Each station had on demand videos, product talks, documentation downloads and access to technology experts for immediate questions. The demo stations featured AI and machine learning, connectivity and security, environmental sensing, low power solutions, internet of things, and wellbeing solutions.
Deep dive into tech talks
As attendees explored the event, they were welcomed at the lobby reception with an agenda. In the lobby, there were breakout rooms for the theatre, demo room, and networking terrace. In the theatre, attendees could visit and watch keynote addresses by the Renesas executive team and a wide choice of deep-dive tech talks from their experts. In the virtual platform, these talks were recorded sessions that could be accessed at any time to help extend the reach of the event.
Attendees could explore the demo room with featured videos and download documents. If attendees had questions or comments, a live chat feature connected them with Renesas’ sales experts. A networking terrace enabled attendees to schedule private meetings with industry experts in all time zones.
Broadening the horizons
This digital experience provided the ability to reach a much larger global audience and provided the Renesas team with the ability to choose in-person or a virtual event depending on the situation. Compared to a webinar, this immersive experience elevated their brand as attendees could “walk” through the venue, conduct meetings and chat with the experts. Real time analytics were provided to analyze engagement. Renesas can now choose to host an in-person event or a virtual event with this turnkey solution.
