Mobile Executive Briefing Center: Customized 53’ double-expandable trailer
Wind River Systems is a world leader in embedded software for intelligent connected systems. The company wanted to proactively reach a wider audience by bringing their vision, message, products and personnel directly to customers and prospects. They engaged ProGlobalEvents to develop a mobile solution effective on the show floor as well as on the road. (Note: ProGlobalEvents is the new name of the ProExhibits Corporate Events business.)
Three key challenges had to be met in designing the optimal Wind River solution. The first was to ensure form and function met the diverse needs and the rigors of mobile event marketing. Within the 1000 sq. ft. interior, a state-of-the-art data center had to be uniquely showcased as the star of the show. Secondly, the space needed to house multiple demonstration areas for the various technologies and solutions Wind River offers. Within this highly technical environment where end users could gain knowledge and insight, the third challenge was to create a comfortable hospitality area for sidebar conversations and impromptu meetings.
The new executive briefing center is at the height of efficient product demonstration. The large server unit, illuminated with LED lighting, draws attention from any area of the floor. It also pivots as a presenter points out various aspects of interest to visitors. In order to customize the experience for different group types and sizes, the interior design allows the development of different types of settings. For example, one area features a classroom setting for product training. Another can be used for one-on-one demonstrations or converted into a hospitality environment, including music and a full working bar. The entire executive briefing center houses high tech support, including a smart board and video monitors for multi-media presentations.
Far more interactive than a webinar and much less expensive per event than exhibiting at a trade show, Wind River’s new mobile executive briefing center creates a highly competitive advantage.
