The Creative Eye

Synack is the premier security testing platform harnessing a vetted community of the world’s most talented security researchers to deliver continuous penetration testing and vulnerability management. The company helps their customers build and augment their security testing capabilities and capacity to deliver transformational results.

This spring Synack wanted to create a memorable marketing event during the RSA Conference that was high quality, creative, and out of the box without going above their budget. Synack partnered with ProGlobalEvents for this project, and together they created a three-day event at a restaurant that included panel discussions, good food, and entertainment.

Journey by the Bay

The theme of the three-day event located at Fogo de Chão was “Journey by the Bay” and included special event branding signage, customized interior fabrications, and a themed décor laid out in a productive floor plan. This included an Innovation Point for meetings and demos, a Content Court for two thought leadership sessions, and a Lounge Lane for networking.

From Whiskey Tastings to Panel Discussions

Guests began their evening with a welcome reception of whiskey-and-beef paired tastings. Attendees experienced the ultimate flavor pairing featuring a side-by-side tasting of bone-in ribeye vs. decadent dry-aged tomahawk ribeye, paired with a choice of premium whiskeys. Following this was a dinner and networking.

The next day started early with the Women in Cyber breakfast in the Content Court. Guests were treated to a panel discussion with notable women in the industry. Afterwards, they were invited to explore the Lounge Lane, Demo Point, and Innovation Point to explore the demos and connect with others in the industry. That evening a Journey cover band provided entertainment.

The last day kicked off with the Exploits Explained Breakfast and Panel in the Content Court that went into depth on the cutting edge of finding vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by attackers. Following the panel, attendees were able to explore more demo stations and connect with their peers. The evening included a happy hour with the San Francisco Giants vs. St Louis Cardinals baseball game broadcasted on the big screen.

Creating Opportunities

The event was a roaring success and created many ROI opportunities for Synack. Its private, intimate nature allowed guests and attendees to take advantage of the demo stations and network and connect with one another. Synack’s sponsors and partners benefited too. The event ran smoothly and created great opportunities for all.
